Divine Healing
Exodus 15:26
"If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and obey it, and do what is right, then I will not make you suffer the diseases I sent on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.''Psalms 107:20
He spoke, and they were healed-snatched from the door of death.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed-and we were healed!
Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall.
Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
James 5:15
and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
God heals all the time!
The truth is that we were healed, past tense! But not all healings are the same. I have seen people healed of an addiction with a prayer and the laying on of hands. I have also seen God heal through a life time of working out their sobriety. I have seen AIDS healed by faith and put into remission by drugs both. All are God’s Hand of Healing. I have seen people healed of cancer by prayer and seen them healed by treatment, both are God. He is our Healer.
What about people who die?
We have to trust God in all situations. Remember at some point Lazarus died!? Does that change the fact he was raised from the dead? NO! Our purpose is to believe the Word of God, stretch forth our faith, know He is the Healer and pray for the sick. It is God who heals not us or our prayers. God alone does the healing He just joins with our faith to perform such miracles.
What if I’m sick?
Do I just wish it, hope it, or pray it away? You become truthful in all truth. Right now my body is under attack from the disease of this world, but my God is in control. God will either just take away these symptoms or will, through wisdom, lead me to the cause of them. Then I will be healed through the powers of Almighty God. Join with others of faith to pray and ask God to heal, to guide Doctors to the knowledge of how to heal, and for God to give us the wisdom to change what we can change to bring about healing.
